Experience cultural heritage

For the first time, 16 Liechtenstein cultural institutions are jointly organizing the action days "Experience cultural heritage". These include a traveling exhibition in public spaces, the panel discussion "Cultural heritage - Burden or Passion?" on September 13, as well as a rare insight into the depots and working methods of state, municipal, and private cultural property and art collections.
The collections comprise several hundred thousand objects and works that embody Liechtenstein's everyday and cultural history: from pitchforks to high-vacuum steamers, from Gutenberg votive statuettes to Gothic monstrances, from beigla to dial telephones, from Roman coins to calculating machines, but also paintings, tapestries, sculptures, photographs and musical compositions. As diverse as the collection items are, as varied are the offers on September 23 and 30.Program-Flyer
